#2014 Zenin Winning !!!

                                                   

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and they would be right. However, in no way could all the 1,001+ pictures ( Yikes) I took in 2014 sum up the incredible year 2014. All the highs and the lows add it up to an even break. I don't want to bore you with an over spill so I've picked 7 highlights of this year, plus 4 honorable just because , I'm trynna kick it withchu ( Beyonce Voice) , Lol.  #711 . 7. Filmed a Documentary ...A Passion Project about this City where I'm from... 

6. Asia for the first time... I was there Thanks to my BestFriend who convinced me to come... Now or Never she said , so I Jetted. 

5. I've been to New York Fashion Week before but this was the first time I actually officially "#Worked" it . Thanks to my Fairy Godmother/ Play Aunt  Josey. I was a production coordinating assistant on one show and a production styling assistant on another. 

                                                         

4. I drove back from New York post Fashion Week with my cousin through a blizzard. The pictured , photo ( a last minute run to TopShop) couldv'e been my "Last Selfie" Lol. It was Amazingly terrifying but we made it back to DC in one piece. Shout out to Range Rover it felt like we we're floating on air. 

                                   


                                        

3. I was a Hostess At Busboys & Poets on 5th an Kst. aka I worked on a Unicorn Farm. I wanted to be a server, they had other plans , but that gig was ... I'll get back to this thought, however S/o to my BusBoys Fam !!!

While Conjuring Up A #NYE2015 Agenda : Fantasy NYE

My fantasy #NYE would give the following: Me as Cher with wayyy shorter legs and a Belly...followed by a dance off with a young #MJ but I would let him win, lol. Followed by a late night at Studio 54 where I would accidentally kiss Dianna Ross and leave with whomever was the hottest guy in the 1970s. I would say Billie D. Williams but he had a perm , Lol. I would say Marlon Brando but it would have to be a year when he wasn't heavy set. I would say Marvin Gaye but it would have to be a year when he wasn't tripping...I guess this is a to be continued...However , yeah my #NYE would be Epic.

Is it me or was it just #NYE 2014. Time flies when wheels are in motion.  With less than 48 hours until #NYE 2015 , I still have no concrete plans, however my #NYE #OOTN got that together real quick. Whether I'm popping bottles on a porch or on a rooftop I will be enjoying myself and sitting for the Gawds. Besides I think NYE is really about how you come into the year. If nothing else plan to come on the Flyyes Note.If you know like I know a good outfit is a game changer, always. Enter: #MJ the Best To Ever Do It... my #NYE style inspiration. Think #OffTheWall. You're living off the wall (MJ Voice). Whether you literally are or not it dawned on me yesterday , last minute , ofCourse,  New Year's Eve is the one excuse to be on a 1000 just because. #SweatHER Season Has Returned

That one time the World Stopped because I was sick with coodies (Influenza) all Christmas. Well the world didn't exactly stop , however my world did. All my plans got nixed and I was stuck on getting better so I could at least #CarryOn in time for New Years Eve. What do you do when your on bed rest, you primp , prep and fawn over Sweaters. Not just any sweaters but statement sweaters, and there's 1000 apparently so I'll have to update this post soon. Anyway stay warm, I know I will cause if I wasn't dressing for the weather before , I am now #BelieveThat. Happy Holidays, Happy Kwanza. And Read my blog until the New Year cause that's all I'll be doing , till then,keep me company from a distance tho, Lol.

That time I almost didn't but ultimately did #MadeIt till Christmas ...

I prayed to have a peaceful Christmas and it's crazy the way I was given one, but I was given one nonetheless. A bed ridden, peaceful Christmas , spent  watching documentaries and writing letters. How did it happen ? Well, it reminds me of that song we used to sing ... Stink in the barnyard pee you ... How did it happen ? Maybe cause I have a problem but ...

Three days ago I literally thought I was going to die crouched over in a hospital bed at GW sweating with all my clothes on as the nurse asked me for a 3rd time to take my clothes off so I could get X-rayed to check for Pneumonia . I was alone and hysterical thinking of a friend I knew who died of Pneumonia a couple years back . I was thinking it was just be me my luck, to run myself to death. All I kept thinking was God please spare me this time , I'm not ready to die I'm supposed to be get Merrried this summer.I don't think I ever asked God for my life before , however God spared my life this time, Lol... I'm so serious tho. I only had the flu. Some shit I hope to never experience again in life even tho I still will not be getting any flu shots . I don't believe in that stuff and I don't even want to chance it popping up. To be sweating but feel like is 30 degrees is some crazy shhh. Long story short I look terrible I sound like idk what but I'm alive if not fully well.And thankful And I'm even writing again. #MerryChristmas #HappyKwanza #Amen
